A retailer may not collect tax on any medical sales to either Oregon Medical Marijuana Program patients or their designated primary caregiver or on sales of products other than cannabis items.
(Requirement for retailers not to tax patients and allowance to give free products.)
Section 2, subsections (a) and (b)
The existing burden of cost for patients is challenge enough, the added cost of tax is simply unconscionable. It is our hope to make the patient community valuable again to thousands of risk-adverse disabled people who exist within the OMMP and make it relevant to people to join again, or renew.
Reach out and lets begin planning our collaboration to preserve, cultivate, and mitigate solutions for patients!
